The webinos project will have a booth at the ICT 2013 exhibition in Vilnius.

ICT 2013 is a huge EU event (about 4000 attendees expected), which is essentially the kick-off event for the next big EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, named Horizon 2020.

The exhibition has five thematic areas and webinos is located in the the “Digitally Empowered Citizen” zone, which is in hall 5. Our booth number is 5C7.

What will we show?

We will show demonstrations covering various webinos areas, centered around four thematic hubs.

IoT hub: We will present the use of the IoT dashboard to communicate with sensors from various manufacturers, easily gather and display historical sensor data, and use a rule definition system to trigger activators based on sensor data.

Home media hub: Here we show how videos and other home media can be controlled and directed between home media devices using standard, non-proprietary APIs with the webinos TV application.

Car hub: As we can’t drive a real car around at the booth (as much as we would like to), we demonstrate a webinos enabled dashboard presenting car information from a simulated drive.

Health hub:  Monitoring personal health data is increasingly important both to health conscious individuals and to alleviate pressure on national health services. webinos can provide the tools to collect data from various wearable sensors in a unified, secure and device-independent way.

Of course, we will also be there to answer questions, help visitors with installing and configuring webinos on their devices and talk about our other demos and applications (like the use of webinos in Smart Cities or the FI-CONTENT project) for which we probably won’t have live demos in Vilnius.
